Our Services

Essential household items for those in need

How We Help

What We Provide

We offer essential household items free of charge to individuals and families referred to us by support agencies

At The Lifeline Station, we understand that setting up a home when you're facing financial hardship can feel impossible. That's why we collect quality donated items and redistribute them to those who need them most.

All our items are provided free of charge to eligible clients. We operate on a referral basis, working with local support agencies to ensure items reach those in greatest need.

We want to make receiving your items as easy as possible.

Collection

Smaller items such as kitchenware, bedding, and curtains can be taken with you when you visit our showroom.

Delivery

For larger items like furniture and white goods, we can arrange delivery to your home. Our volunteer delivery team operates across Yate and the surrounding South Gloucestershire area.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, all items are provided free of charge to eligible clients. We are a charity and do not sell items to the people we help.

Unfortunately, we can only accept referrals from recognised support agencies. This helps us ensure our limited resources reach those in greatest need. If you need help, contact your local Citizens Advice, council housing team, or a community support organisation who can refer you to us.

We primarily serve Yate and the South Gloucestershire area. However, we may be able to help people from the wider Bristol area depending on circumstances and delivery capacity.

Once we receive your referral, we aim to contact you within a few days to arrange a showroom visit. Delivery times for larger items depend on volunteer availability, typically within 1-2 weeks.

Yes! When you visit our showroom, you can choose from the items currently in stock. We believe in giving people dignity and choice in furnishing their homes.
