Volunteer Roles

Warehouse Team
Help us receive, sort, and organise donated items. This role involves some lifting, so reasonable fitness is helpful.
Tasks include:
- Unloading donated items
- Sorting and categorising stock
- Quality checking items
- Keeping the warehouse organised
Collection & Delivery
Help collect donations from donors and deliver items to families. A driving licence is required for this role.
Tasks include:
- Collecting furniture and white goods
- Loading and unloading the van
- Delivering items to families' homes
- Representing the charity professionally
Showroom Assistant
Welcome clients visiting our showroom and help them select items for their new homes.
Tasks include:
- Welcoming referred clients
- Helping people choose suitable items
- Keeping the showroom tidy and presentable
- Answering enquiries
Administrative Support
Help with the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the charity running smoothly.
Tasks include:
- Processing referrals
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Data entry and record keeping
- Social media and communications
